Passive Air Sampling
Description
Passive Environmental Monitoring is used to monitor airborne microbial contamination in cleanrooms and controlled environments. Sterile settle plates are placed at key locations and exposed to the air for a specific period. Microorganisms naturally settle onto the plates, which are then incubated to detect and quantify microbial growth.
This method is commonly applied to:
Cleanrooms and sterile production areas
Monitoring air quality and hygiene practices
