Kinetic Turbidimetric Method
Description
The Kinetic Turbidimetric Method is a quantitative test used to detect bacterial endotoxins in pharmaceutical products, biologics, and medical devices. The method measures the increase in turbidity as endotoxins react with the Limulus Amebocyte Lysate (LAL) reagent, providing precise endotoxin levels.
This method is commonly applied to:
Injectable drugs and parenteral solutions
Ophthalmic products
Biological products and vaccines
Medical devices in contact with blood or tissues
Water for injection (WFI) and other pharmaceutical-grade waters
